Pin

Three preset positions are the only ground flat enough for a real hole. Tap one — or drag the flag anywhere on the green to cut your own. Everything below recalculates: the zero line, the aim numbers, and the whole approach plan.

Roll it

Tap any spot on the green and watch the ball. Putt mode plays the correct read and shows, in grey, what happens if you aim straight at the hole instead. Every read also carries its three-putt risk — the same roll engine run over a spread of stroke errors, so you can see what the putt costs when you get it slightly wrong. Land mode drops an approach shot there and lets it release. Move the hole mode re-cuts the cup wherever you tap — or just drag the flag directly, which works in any mode.

Aim points

PuttBreakAimSpeed

These numbers come out of the same roll simulation that animates the ball below, so the two never disagree. A rolling ball accelerates down a slope at 57·g·sinθ and is slowed by friction set from the green speed — at Stimp 10 that is a deceleration of about 1.8 ft/s², which is why is the steepest ground on this green that will still hold a ball at rest. Downhill adds roughly 25%, uphill cuts about 25%, and putts angled toward the zero line break proportionally less.

Caddie notes

  1. Right is high, left is low, front is lowest. Everything on this green runs toward the front-left. There is no such thing as a straight putt from the front.
  2. The front edge is severe but it does not tip toward the fairway — 8.2% at D1 and 8.1% at E1 both run sideways, to the left. A ball there does not trickle back to you; it takes off across the front of the green and finishes left.
  3. The entire right side (E column) runs 5.3–7.3%. Never aim there, never miss there. A right-side miss leaves a downhill slider across the steepest ground on the property.
  4. The back-left is the low corner of the whole green — the elevation map bottoms out there. The back-centre plateau beside it, 0.5–2.1%, is the only genuinely calm ground and the bail-out.
  5. Below the hole means left of the hole here, not short of it. Short is dead. Pin-high-left is the miss that saves you.
